Jeweled Hand Mirror

Obviously you can bedazzle anything! I think mirrors have so many different uses then just there traditional use like using them as a perfume tray. For young girls you can get a hand mirror at the dollar store and hot glue jewels on them to make them so pretty and princess like. Most young girls want to be princesses and this is something fun you can do for them.

When clicking on the link it takes you to a Miss Piggy Mirror but I just liked the thought of putting jewels on a hand mirror.

I also thought it would be cute to do this with their hair brush or other objects like that! This could be a good party favor as well for a princess party with little nail polishes. The possibilities are endless!

Silverware Tree

I would love to make this! Who wouldn't want a Silverware Tree. I have a few other projects started right now but once those are finished I really want to do this. I looks like it would be a long project but something that you could start and then come back to in your free time. Those are my favorite kinds of projects.

This would be so cool to hang jewelry on instead of a jewelry box. It would be a very interesting piece to have in your room or maybe even in a guest bedroom.

Monster Art Holders

I love when you’re able to reuse items and make them into something really awesome. It is even better when it helps keep things organized! The idea of cute little monster holders for a craft room or a child’s play room is so much fun. One of the best parts is that once they are worn out they can just be thrown away; like you would normal do once you’ve ran out of shampoo.

I think these would be cute in pink and purple for a little girl too. I haven’t had the chance to make these yet but I use the perfect shampoo bottles to use for this project!

Fluffy Girlie Hair Bow

I love hair bows! I think they are just too cute. To make this hair bow I put two different hair bows together. The base of this bow is the same as one layer of the Flower Loop Bow.

The top part of this bow was the top of the Burst Bow. I loved the top of that bow but when I was making this bow I did not have any tulle around at the time so I used feathers instead which I now love. This bow is so cute and sassy!

Socktopus

Socktopus!! What an awesome name for a sock animal! Sock puppets are fun to make and you can be super creative with them but learning to make different animals is even better. I found the socktopus while thinking of activities to do with the homeless children at my mom’s church. This was a HUGE hit! Even the moms wanted to make one. They’re very easy to do and just the cutest things ever.

I was so excited that I took the picture right where I was!

Kids can drag these little guys around everywhere and even sleep with them they're so soft. Also, if they get ruined it is no big deal because they're just socks!

Flower Loop Hair Bow

This hair bow was a bit intimating at first glance! I thought it was adorable but looked so complicated. After looking through the instructions I realized how easy it is. Once you figure out the first layer of the bow it’s a piece of cake from there.

These are my first attempt!

My Flower Loop Hair Bows are only three layers because of the size of my ribbon. I didn’t want them to be to tall. This bow is really neat especially with bright colors. The brighter the colors the better, I think! I love my second attempt at these bows even more.

Alix's Bow Hanger

Alix's bow hanger has so far been my favorite project of all! Alix is my cousin whom I am very close with. I made this for her as a special gift for her eighth birthday. I started this project with a plain wooden heart, a box of paints, a bag of buttons, and ribbons. I absolutely loved making this for her! It took quite a while to hand paint her name on it and place the buttons on just right. After that I decided I wanted to hand make even the hair bows so I learned how to make simple bows for her that she can put in her hair.

After finishing this project I really got into fun, girly crafts, especially fancier hair bows! With a big family and lots of kids running around there's always time for crafts!!
